Pigeon Point Lighthouse Restored after 23 years

After 23 years, the historic Pigeon Point Lighthouse located along the San Mateo Coast will be restored! The $16 million project, overseen by California’s State Parks Department, is currently underway.

ARG completed phased construction documents for this project under contract with the California State Parks Foundation in 2015, and we are thrilled to see the whole project under construction! ARG was intimately involved at the Pigeon Point Lightstation from 2008 through 2022, when we updated the construction documents for rehabilitation of the lighthouse.

Other projects included a rehabilitation plan, historic structure report, maintenance plan and construction documents for rehabilitation of the windows and doors at the lighthouse and exterior rehabilitation of the Fog Signal Building.
