Lodge at the Presidio
Located on Montgomery Street, facing the Presidio of San Francisco’s main parade ground, Building 105 is the northernmost in a series of five identical barracks buildings constructed between 1893 and 1897.
The rehabilitation of Building 105 created a new 42-room hotel – Lodge at the Presidio – that provides welcoming public spaces as well as guest rooms overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and historic Parade Ground. The intentional mix of modest to larger accommodations appeals to families, couples, individuals, upscale and budget travelers alike. Every room conveys a sense of the military past, National Park setting, and proximity of the ocean with color, finishes, park views and artwork.
The project provides full rehabilitation of the structure including seismic strengthening, new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, and sitework. It has been designed to meet LEED Gold rating.
