Preservation Plans & Ordinances
ARG has worked with many municipalities, universities, and other agencies to develop Preservation Plans and Ordinances that help guide future development and protect the distinctive architectural and cultural history of those areas. Preservation Plans and Ordinances typically incorporate long-term historic preservation goals and priorities with respect to the agency’s existing long-range planning processes. Depending on the needs of the client, these documents may include areawide context statements, the formulation of criteria for local landmark designation, as well as guidelines for regulatory review
